The Falls City Police Department is investigating a hit and run accident Monday evening at 21st and Harlan Streets.
Police say a car driven by Rebecca Wittwer of Falls City was headed south on Harlan, stopped at the signal. A white semi-truck was behind the Wittwer car. When the light turned green, the semi bumped the Wittwer car a couple of times. Wittwer turned off and the semi went on south without stopping.
Wittwer was transported to Community Medical Center with possible, but not visible injuries.
Anyone who may have seen this incident or may have any knowledge about the truck is asked to contact the Falls City Police Department at 402-245-4422.
