Truck Driver gets Jail for Felony DUI
05/03/2012

An Atchison truck driver will go to jail after being sentenced Wednesday in Atchison County District Court on his third DUI.

Randall Gilliand will serve 90 days in jail, suspended from a one year jail sentence.

He pled no contest to the charge last month as part of a plea deal after originally pleading not guilty.

He was arrested by the Kansas Highway Patrol on September 17th following a single vehicle accident where he tipped a semi over into a ditch four miles east of Muscotah while driving under the influence of alcohol determined to be point one one by KBI labs.
