A truck driver from Minnesota was injured after he lost control of his rig on a northwest Missouri road. The accident happened at nine o’clock Wednesday night, on U.S. Highway 59 approximately two miles north of Tarkio.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 26-year-old Aaron White of Sherburn, Minnesota, lost control of the 2006 International semi-tractor trailer he was driving southbound on Highway 59.
The truck went off the west side of the roadway then returned to the roadway before going off the west side of the road again. The truck came to rest on its passenger side in the ditch.
The driver, Aaron White, was taken by ambulance to Community Hospital in Fairfax with what were described as moderate injuries. The State Patrol says White was not wearing a seat belt.
