Falls City won its initial golf meet of the spring, defeating Auburn and HTRS Thursday in Falls City.
Falls City totaled 180, Auburn 193, and HTRS didn’t have enough golfers to record a team score.
The Tigers’ Wade Witt was the individual medallist with a 9-hole score of 43. That tied with Auburn’s Joe Nelson, who also had a 43. Witt earned medallist honors based on handicap holes, with a bogey on number-2.
Also for Falls City, Brandt Vice and Weston Witt each shot a 45, and Brody Weinman finished with a 47.
For Auburn, Treyven Blex shot a 45, Calvin Bishop 48, and Brenden Volkman 57.
For HTRS, Elliott Gonnella shot an 80 and Taylor Bredemeier an 89.
