A 26 year old Atchison man will have a preliminary hearing on an aggravated battery charge allegedly occurring while he was in jail serving another sentence.
Jeremy McAfee will have the hearing on the level four felony on March 15th.
He was given the charge after an alleged January 15th fight with another inmate over food.
The fight sent the alleged victim to the hospital with injuries.
