A 26 year old Atchison man serving a sentence for a DUI and fleeing arrest get a new felony aggravated battery charge after an altercation in jail.
Jeremy McAfee made his first appearance on the level four felony Friday in Atchison County Court.
On January 15th, McAfee allegedly got into a fight over food with another male inmate at the jail, sending the alleged victim to the hospital.
He will make his next appearance on the charge February 10th.
