(KNZA)--An early Wednesday evening two-vehicle Brown County crash involving a UTV and a pickup truck sent a Hiawatha boy to the hospital.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says it happened at the intersection of 230th Street and Mulberry Road, northeast of Hiawatha, around 5:00.
According the Patrol report, 13-year-old Jace Twombly, of Hiawatha, was driving a Polaris Ranger northbound on Mulberry Road and a Ford pickup truck was eastbound on 230th Street when the vehicles collided in the intersection.
Twombly was transported to Amberwell Hiawatha for the treatment of suspected minor injuries.
The driver of the pickup, 25-year-old Hiawatha resident Luke Kessler, was not hurt.
