The Brown County Conservation District prepares to hold its Annual Meeting, with an awards presentation, and dinner, both part of the evening, on January 23rd. Included will be the presentation of honors to the Kansas Bankers Award winners.
District Manager Vicki Goertzen says those ag-producers, selected due to conservation success, are selected by a local panel of judges(Play Audio 33 secs)
Named as the Banker Award Winners for 2011 are Randy and Debbie Fee; Michael Leitch; the Kickapoo Tribe; and Joe and Joan Noll.
Larry and Sue Weast will be presented with the 2011 Buffer Award.
Goertzen says anyone is invited to take part in the ceremony, but the reservation deadline is fast approaching(Continue Audio 20 secs)
