No to another raise in the nation's debt ceiling.
That's the message United States Senator Jerry Moran is sending to President Obama, following the President's request to raise the ceiling by
one-point-two-trillion-dollars.
Moran says the request, which means making the increase without a serious plan in place to reduce the nation's debt, would only, according to the Kansas Republican, continue America's pattern of fiscal irresponsibility(Play Audio 20 secs)
Moran says with no real solutions considered, and with political games continuing to be played, future generations-if new approaches aren't taken-will be the ones who suffer(Play Audio 38 secs)
Moran calls the President's request “a painful reminder of Washington's out of control spending habits and failure to live by a budget.
He says America's debt now stands at more than 15-trillion-dollars, and has grown by nearly 4-point-5 trillion in the last three years alone.
