NEK Lutheran Partnership will hold a free public presentation for Parents and Caring Adults on the topic of stopping human trafficking. Russ Tuttle from the StopTrafficking Project will speak at the Sabetha Middle School Auditorium on Sunday March 8 at 7:00 pm. He focuses on how social media is being used by predators to exploit the vulnerabilities of young people, especially minors and how they can fall victim to sex trafficking and other things. His presentation is fast-paced and very engaging, geared toward raising awareness and providing practical, helpful information to adults. In addition to the presentation for adults on March 8, Mr. Tuttle will also give 2 separate general assembly presentations on Monday morning, March 9. OOne presentation for high school students will be given at 8:15 and another for middle school students at 10:00.
