(KAIR)--A Muscotah man goes to jail, following what authorities say was a domestic altercation that left the victim injured.
According to Atchison County Sheriff Jack Laurie, it happened at 5549 Bourbon Road, where Deputies responded shortly before 12:15 Sunday afternoon.
Arrested was 55-year-old David Earl Lockhard. He was taken into custody for domestic battery. However, Laurie says once in custody, a deputy located what is alleged to have been methamphetamine along with drug paraphernalia, and he faces additional charges in connection with that discovery.
The victim was treated at the scene by EMS for what is described as minor injuries suffered in the alleged altercation.
