(KLZA)-- Nemaha Natural Resources District park permits are currently at a discount until March 31st. The price for an annual vehicle permit sticker is just $10
After March 31st the cost jumps up to $12. Permits are required at Kirkman’s Cove near Humboldt, Iron Horse Trail Lake near DuBois, and Wirth Brothers Lake north of Tecumseh and are valid through December 31. One duplicate permit for an additional vehicle titled to you may be purchased for $6; this additional permit must be purchased at the same time as the original, full-cost permit.
NNRD park permits are available at the Nemaha NRD’s office at 62161 Highway 136, Tecumseh, or by contacting the NRD at 335-3325. You could also print an application online at www.nemahanrd.orgwww.nemahanrd.org and mail to the NRD with your payment, or you may request an annual permit through the temporary permit envelopes available at each park’s main entrances. Applications postmarked before April 1 will receive the discount.
