(KAIR)--Atchison County authorities are trying to find who ever is responsible for powering a location in Muscotah illegally.
According to Sheriff Jack Laurie, his office was notified by the City of Muscotah that someone used heavy gage wire to make a connection in order to bring power to 108 West 2nd Street.
The wire was used where a power meter would normally be in place.
Laurie says the investigation is ongoing; and while a possible suspect is pursued, anyone with information about the crime should contact his office.
