Stolen Vehicle Found Burned In Jackson Co

(KNZA)--An investigation is launched following the discovery of a stolen vehicle found burned in Jackson County. 

Sheriff Tim Morse says his office responded to the area of 126th and D. Road, near Delia, Sunday where Deputies found the charred Chevy Cobalt. 

Morse says it's believed the 2005 Chevy had earlier been stolen from the Emmet area in Pottawatomie County. 

Fire Investigators from the Sheriff's Office are working with the Kansas Fire Marshal's Office in the probe. 

There's not yet any word regarding suspects in the case.
