(KLZA)-- The Pawnee City Council this past week approved trading in the current Bobcat Skid Loader for a new model. The cost to the City for the upgrade will be $2,155.
Updates were provided to the Council concerning Johnson Service Company using a camera to look at three problem area’s with the sewer mains and doing a slip-lining project.
Preliminary discussions are being held on the 1 & 6 Year Street Plan. The City also learned that Percival, Iowa did not receive a grant that would have been used to purchase the Pawnee City recycling trailer. Dempster will not buy the trailer back so other possible sales avenues will be explored.
The Pawnee City Council also approved a $50 donation to the Capital Humane Society which accepts the unlicensed dogs picked up in Pawnee City.
