The Shownee County Conservation District and K-State Research and Extention - Shawnee County and the Natural Resources Conservation Service will host a series of programs called "Coffee, Cookies, and Conversartion". All programs will begin at 1:00PM.
"Pasture Leases" will be held on Thursday, January 14th at the Shawnee County Extension office. The speaker will be Dr. Mykel Taylor Assistant Professor, Agriculture Economics, KSU
"Farm Transition for Women" will be held on Thursday, January 21st at the Sommerset Hall Cafe. The speakers will be Allie Devine, from Devine and Donley, LLC Attorneys at Law. And, Cindy Evans, Shawnee County Extention Director.
"Ponds and Livestock Watering" will be held on Thursday, February 11th at the Shawnee County Farm Bureau building. Speakers Christy Ronsse from Natural Resources Conservation Service and Brad Rueschhoff from Kansas Department of Wildlife Parks and Tourism will be there.
"Wildlife" will be held on Thursday, February 25th at Ravenwood Hunting Lodge. Speakers will be Ken Corbet and Brad Rueschhoff from the Kansas Department of Woldlife, Parks and Tourism.
