(MSC News)--A St. Joseph motorcyclist was seriously injured two-vehicle wreck in St. Joseph Tuesday evening.
Police say 58-year-old Michael Chipps was eastbound on Mitchell Avenue when his Honda Civic motorcycle struck the rear of a car near 28th Street. Chipps, who was not wearing a helmet, was ejected.
The St. Joseph News Press reports Chipps was transported to Mosaic Life Care with what appeared to be a broken leg.
The driver of the car, an 18-year-old Savannah, Missouri woman, was not hurt.
the wreck, which was reported shortly before 8:00, remains under investigation.
