(KNZA)--Three were injured following a two-vehicle Jackson County crash early Monday evening.
Sheriff Tim Morse says it happened in the area of 302nd Road and U.S. Highway 75, when a BMW, driven westbound on 302nd Road by 87-year-old Whiting resident William Cochren, failed to yield the right of way to a pick-up truck, driven northbound on Highway 75 by 73-year-old Allen Bowser, of Holton.
Cochren required extrication from the wreckage, and was then transported to Topeka, along with Bowser and a passenger in Bowser's truck, for hospitalized treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Along with the Sheriff's Office, Jackson County EMS, and the fire departments from Netawaka, Whiting, and Holton, responded to the scene of the wreck, that happened around 5:45.
