Three Arrested After Standoff Facing Additional Charges
10/16/2015

(KMZA)--Three rural Blue Rapids residents arrested last week after an armed standoff are now charged with having a marijuana growing operation.

The Marysville Advocate reports James Tyner, Terri Tyner and Gregory Tyner have each been charged with a felony count of cultivation of a controlled substance.
In addition, they face two other drug charges and a charge of criminal use of weapons. Also James Tyner is charged with two counts of battery causing bodily harm.

The trio was arrested late October 7th after the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to a domestic incident at a home in the 700-block of Dogwood Lane.

When officers arrived they heard four gunshots and called for backup.

A standoff ensued, and ended 30-minutes later without incident.
