Marysville Woman to Stand Trial in Human Trafficking Case

(KMZA)--A Marysville woman accused of trafficking a minor for prostitution will stand trial on a pair of felony charges.

19-year-old Miranda Cain was bound over to Marshall County District Court Monday following her preliminary hearing on charges of aggravated human trafficking of a child and commercial sexual exploitation of a child.

Arraignment was scheduled for November 17th.

Cain was arrested June 4th after the Marysville Police Department and Marshall County Sheriff’s Department conducted an undercover operation at a local motel investigating the alleged crimes involving a child born in May 2001.  The juvenile was taken into protective custody at the time.    

Cain remains in the Marshall County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
