There will be a Brown County Conservation District Cover Crop Field Tour on Thursday, October 8th at the Fairview Community Center from 9:00AM till 12:00 noon. Registration begins at 8:30AM The Community Center is located at 511 West Front Street in Fairview.

8:30 to 9:00AM Registration, coffee and cinnamon rolls
9:00AM Welcome and introduction of Dr Jaymelynn Farney from the Southeast Agriculture Research Center in Parsons.
9:30AM Break
9:45AM Introduction of Dr. DeAnn Presley Associate Professor of Environmental Soil Science and Management at Kansas State University.
10:15 Break to travel to field site
10:30AM re-convene at the field site with both presenters
11:30 to 12:00 Question and answer time
12:00 Dismiss
