(KNZA)--A Horton man arrested after a high speed motorcycle chase earlier this month has entered into a plea agreement.
39-year-old Jeremiah Lamberson pleaded “ no contest” in Jackson County District Court to a felony charge of fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer. In exchange for the plea, three other charges were dismissed.
Sentencing has been set for October 23rd.
The Holton Recorder reports Lamberson entered the plea last week after waiving his preliminary hearing.
He was arrested September 17th following a chase that began in Holton and ended in Atchison County.
Lamberson also faces extradition to Florida on a felony warrant for an unspecified charge.
He remains in the Jackson County Jail on a $30,000 bond.
