(KMZA)--The Seneca Chief of Police has resigned.
Chief Brent Schulte submitted his letter of resignation on Friday.
His final day of serving in the role is set for September 25th.
Schulte says he's leaving to take an investigative position with the Kansas Lottery and will be moving to the Perry Lake area.
He has served a police chief for 9 years.
