(KLZA)--The Nemaha County School District #29 opens for another school year on Thursday, August 13th. The first day will be a half-day for students will classes to dismiss at 11:30 a-m. The Pre-School will begin classes on Monday, August 17th.
School will begin at 8 a-m for all students except those in the Alternative Education Learning Center program where classes begin at 8:30 a-m. Dismissal times are 3:15 for pre-school students and Calvert Elementary School. 3 p-m at the Alternative School, 3:35 p-m at the Middle School and 3:37 for the High School.
The Auburn Public Schools offer a breakfast and lunch program with free and reduced prices available for those who qualify
Handbooks for students in all the various schools are available on the Auburn Public School website.
