(KAIR)--An Atchison man had his bond revoked after entering into a plea deal in an Atchison drug case.
29-year-old Scott Fowler, plead guilty Friday morning in Atchison County District Court to one count of felony possession of a narcotic. In exchange for the plea, one count of possession of marijuana and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia were dropped.
Sentencing was set for September 11th.
However, it was discovered that Fowler had tested positive for methamphetamine before the hearing, and as a result, his bond was revoked and he was transported to the Atchison County Jail.
Fowler was arrested in early July during a traffic stop in Muscotah. During the stop, deputies with the Atchison County Sheriff's Department discovered what appeared to be a controlled substance, believed to be prescription drug, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia in his possession.
