(KLZA)-- 38-year old Jason Thayer of Tarkio was seriously injured in a one-vehicle wreck about 6:25 a-m Sunday morning three miles north of Watson, Missouri on Interstate 29.
Thayer was southbound on I-29 when his pickup traveled off the east side of the road into the median, traveled back onto the southbound lane and began to overturn. The pickup overturned several times as it traveled off the west side of I-29 coming to rest on its top.
Thayer was transported by the Atchison/Holt Ambulance Service to Fairfax Community Hospital. The pickup was totaled.
The Missouri Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Atchison County, Missouri Sheriff’s Department and the Watson and Rock Port Fire Departments.
