(KNZA)--Details are released regarding a Saturday evening Jackson County two vehicle crash that left six injured.
Sheriff Tim Morse says it happened at the intersection of U.S. Highway 75 and 190th Road when 80-year-old Clarks, Nebraska resident Ronald Miller was eastbound crossing southbound 75. He failed to yield the right of way at the intersection to a vehicle driven by 43-year-old Humeston, Iowa resident Cindi Davidson, which caused the two vehicles to collide.
Both Miller and his passenger, 75-year-old Peggy Miller, were extricated from the wreckage, and transported to Topeka’s Stormont Vail for treatment. Due to the extent of his injuries, Ronald Miller was flown there by Lifestar helicopter.
Davidson was apparently not hurt, but four of the passengers in her vehicle, all from Iowa, were transported for treatment at Stormont Vail.
The wreck happened around 6:40 Saturday evening.
