(KAIR)--Smart Warehousing, an Edgerton, KS based storage company has opened a facility in Atchison on the property formerly occupied by Extreme Underground.
Company CEO Carl Wassinger says the underground location was ideal for his company's needs as they already have an underground facility in Independence, MO and are familiar with how they are operated. He says that “when we found out that the one here in Atchison was going to be available, having a background or already having some knowledge on how the undergrounds work...and they are a little different than a surface warehouse, we felt comfortable with some of the challenges that they do bring to the table. So it didn't put us into a situation where we did not think we could make it successful.”
Smart Warehousing first started in 2001 and has since expanded to over twenty-five locations throughout twelve regions in the United States and Canada.
