(MSC News)--An Atchison man is dead, and the Douglas County Sheriff's Office is seeking help from the public for information related to the fatal crash that claimed his life.
The Lawrence Journal-World is reporting that Zachary Julo was eastbound on North 1500 Road when his pick-up truck went off the roadway and collided with a tree shortly after midnight Sunday.
Julo was apparently traveling alone, and it remains unknown what led to the crash.
The Lawrence Journal-World reports he required extrication from the wreckage and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Sheriff's Office has posted a plea for assistance from the public on the department's Facebook page, urging anyone with information about the wreck to contact (785) 841-8477 or (785) 330-3227.
