(KAIR)--It's a tangible testimony to classroom success being shown in Atchison County's USD 377.
The district is touting the 2014 ACT results accomplished by the students of the Atchison County Community High School, with the district's average composite score coming in at 22.6. According to USD 377's website, that compares to a state average of 22.0.
ACCHS students scored highest in reading, where they averaged 23.2, which is well above the state average of 22.5.
They also excelled in mathematics, earning a score of 22.6, compared to the state average of 21.7.
In English, the students scored 21.8, up from the state average of 21.4.
In Science, they also exceeded the state average of 21.8 with the student test scores coming in at 22.
