(KTNC) - A Mound City man was not seriously injured when he crashed his pickup Monday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 38-year-old Gabriel Hayes was driving a Chevy Silverado east on Highway 159 a half mile east of Rulo at 11:00 a.m. Monday, when the truck went off the south side of the road and struck two traffic signs. The truck then returned to the roadway before sliding off the south side of the road again and rolling several times before striking a utility pole, coming to rest on its wheels off the south side of the highway.
It’s not known whether Hayes was wearing a seat belt. He refused medical treatment at the scene for minor injuries.
