(KLZA) -- A Tecumseh, Nebraska man has been sentenced in Richardson County District Court to four years probation on felony charges of theft by unlawful taking and attempted burglary and a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief.
Four charges against 30-year-old Jeremy Kaster were dismissed previously. The charges on which he was convicted were for the theft of items belonging to Brandon Duerfeldt near Barada, motors and copper wire belonging to Kenneth Arnold in Falls City and attempted theft of wire and damage to a grain truck owned by Doug Kirkendall.
In addition to the probation sentence, Kaster was ordered to do 60 hours of community service and pay more than $7,500 in restitution.
