(KTNC) - A woman from Maryville and her young daughter were injured in a crash in rural Atchison County Missouri Saturday morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 24-year-old Amy Wilson was driving a 2009 Nissan Versa westbound on Highway 136, just east of S Avenue at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, when the car began to skid and went off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle struck an embankment and rolled several times, coming to rest on its top.
Wilson was taken initially to the Fairfax Community Hospital before being flown to the Heartland Hospital in St. Joseph with what were described as serious injuries.
Wilson’s two-year-old daughter was transported to the Fairfax Hospital, where she was treated for more moderate injuries.
