(KTNC) -- The Pawnee City School Board selected its leaders by acclamation Monday night.
The board unanimously elected Terry Borcher as president for another year. They also unanimously selected Brian Rottinghaus as vice president, Jerry Meyer as treasurer, and Lisa Hunzeker as secretary.
The board also approved the committee assignments for the year, on a 5-1 vote.
In new business, the board approved a contract of just over $4,300 with Hart Floors to redo the gym floor this summer.
The board approved a motion to select TRANE as the district’s qualified energy service company. TRANE will conduct an energy audit of the district buildings and identify and implement the energy conservation measures in exchange for a portion of the cost savings.
And the board recognized the Pawnee City Education Association as the negotiating team for district teachers for the 2015-2016 contract year.
