(KTNC) - One person sustained minor injuries in an accident on Interstate 29 south of Rock Port Sunday evening.
The Missouri State Patrol says Joshua Morgan of Olathe, Kansas was driving south on the Interstate eight miles south of Rock Port shortly before 9:00 p.m. Sunday, when his 2010 Mazda struck the rear of a trailer being pulled by a pickup.
Morgan’s car came to rest in the passing lane of southbound I-29, while the truck – a 1976 Dodge pickup – stopped on the shoulder of the highway.
Morgan was treated at the scene for minor injuries. The pickup driver, Donald Folkman of Selmer, Tennessee, was not injured. Morgan’s car was totaled, while Folkman’s vehicle sustained only minor damage in the collision.
