(KAIR)--A Jefferson county man is in custody after a domestic dispute gets out of hand. 31 year old Michael Mahoney was arrested just after midnight Tuesday morning after deputies were called to his home located at 5604 Highway 59 for a report of someone brandishing a machete in the home.
When officers arrived, Mahoney came out with his hands up, without the weapon. He was arrested on one count of aggravated battery, one count of disorderly conduct, one count of aggravated assault, criminal restraint, and criminal damage to property.
He remains confined at the Jefferson county jail. Bond is not known at this time.
