(KTNC) - The Pawnee City School Board set meal prices for the next school year during their regular July meeting.
Breakfast prices will be $1.55 and both the Elementary and High School, and lunch will cost $2.30 at the Elementary and $2.50 at the High School. Adult breakfasts will cost $1.75 and adult lunches will cost $3.25. Extra milk will cost 40-cents.
On a related move, the Pawnee City School Board approved a contract Taher to provide the lunch program for the 2013-14 school year.
The board approved several motions under new business. That included the purchase of seven projectors for the Elementary School, along with accessories and installation, from Engaging Technologies.
The board approved the purchase of the Science Fusion curriculum, including labs and materials, at a cost of $18,649. They approved motions to relocate the water hydrant for the FFA garden, and to install a concrete pad around the hydrant at the football practice field.
The board also approved a motion to have Kyle’s Service Center serve as the district’s bus inspection provider.
