( KNZA )--A status and plea hearing has been set for an area newspaper publisher accused of sexual battery and phone harassment.
Magistrate Judge Roy Roper Tuesday set a June 17th hearing for Dana Foley of Wathena who faces five counts of sexual battery and three counts of harassment by telephone. Foley did not appear in court, but was represented by his attorney.
The criminal complaint against Foley was filed in March by the Kansas Attorney General’s office. According to the complaint, the alleged offenses occurred between June 2008 and October 2011 involving three individuals.
Foley is owner/publisher of the Horton Headlight and the Kansas Chief.
