(KAIR) -- A 19-year-old LeCompton man has pled guilty for his role in the theft of a truck in Atchison County earlier this year.
Brandon Helm on Friday pled guilty to felony theft in Atchison County District Court.
He and another individual were arrested in February by the Atchison County Sheriff’s Office for taking a 2001 Dodge Ram from a rural Lancaster residence.
The vehicle was later recovered in Johnson County near Overland Park.
The other individual allegedly involved in the case, Justin Berry of Olathe, is currently in Douglas County being held on other charges.
Sentencing for Helm is set for June 14th.
