(KTNC) - A reception is planned to honor the service of retiring Richardson County Commissioner Bill Ely.
Ely is stepping down after serving as District Three Commissioner for the past 12 years.
A reception will be held to honor Ely Wednesday, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m., in the District Courtroom, on the third floor of the Richardson County Courthouse in Falls City.
Refreshments will be served.
