Wilson says as a result of Monday’s investigation, Blanchard also faces a charge of attempted theft.

In addition, Blanchard has been charged with five counts of aggravated burglary since he’s allegedly on the banned list at Wal-Mart due to prior theft convictions at the store.

Wilson says nearly 10 thousand dollars worth of items were reported stolen in connection to these cases.

Blanchard remains in Atchison County Jail awaiting bond and formal charges.
