(KNZA)--The search is on for a missing Sabetha girl, whose car was reportedly found abandoned Friday evening in a Nebraska City parking lot.
The Sabetha Police Department confirms there is a case involving 16-year-old Kristina Richey, who is listed as a run away.
She is described as 5 foot 3, weighing approximately 130 pounds with dark brown/black hair past her shoulders, with hazel eyes and glasses. She could be wearing a Mossy Oak pink camo hoodie and jeans.
Richey's mother, Diana Workman Richey, says she wants her daughter to return home safely, saying that it's believed Kristina went to Nebraska City to meet an unknown truck driver, who planned to help her travel to Oregon.
Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Kristina Richey is urged to contact Sabetha Police at 785-284-2158.
