(KAIR) -- Two Atchison teens are in custody on multiple charges, including possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson said Keante Green and a juvenile were arrested Monday evening after allegedly passing counterfeit money at a local business.

On the state level, Green was also booked on the charge of making false information in regards to the allegations of counterfeit money.
Wilson says after contacting federal authorities about the matter, no federal charges are expected at this point.
Wilson says the distribution charge came as a result the quantity and packaging of the substance believed to be marijuana found.
The juvenile was released into juvenile intake while Green remains in Atchison County Jail awaiting bond and formal charges.
