(KTNC) - A Craig, Missouri woman escaped serious injury when she drove her vehicle off Highway 136 in an attempt to avoid colliding with another vehicle. The accident happened at 3:10 Thursday afternoon, approximately two miles west of Tarkio.
The Missouri State Patrol says Colette Rogers was driving a 2007 Chevy east on Highway 136, when a pickup pulling a camper westbound on 136 attempted to turn left onto Noble Avenue.
Rogers attempted to avoid colliding with the pickup, and her vehicle skidded off the south side of Highway 136, striking a ditch and concrete culvert before overturning onto its top. Rogers’ vehicle came to rest on its top on the south side of the highway, partially blocking the eastbound lane.
Rogers, who was wearing a seatbelt, refused treatment at the scene for what were described as minor injuries.
