( KMZA )--The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary and theft at the county transfer station.
The Marysville Advocate reports the transfer station on Pheasant Road was forcibly entered sometime between noon Saturday and 7 o’clock Monday morning.
Taken was $390 cash and about $350 worth of items.
About $500 damage was done to the transfer station door.
It’s the second time in recent months that a break-in and theft has occurred at the transfer station.
In early May, $400 was taken from the transfer station after someone forced entry to the metal building used for an office and storeroom.
