(KLZA) The Nemaha Against Drug and Alcohol Abuse Coalition reports the September 29th Medication Take Back Event in Auburn was successful.
39 persons turned in 50 pounds of unused prescription and over the counter medications.
The event was a national endeavor supported by the Drug Enforcement Administration.
Local partners with the NADAA Coalition providing the Take Back Event were the Nemaha County, Nebraska Sheriff’s Department, Shopko Hometown Pharmacy, Family Value Pharmacy, Nemaha County Emergency Management and the Nemaha County Hospital.
