A 35- year-old resident of Saint Joseph was given probation and a jail sanction for a charge of felony theft Monday in Atchison County District Court.
Jason Langley was arrested by Atchison Police after a pursuit in late April.
Once the vehicle was stopped, officers discovered a trunk full of electronic items stolen from Wal-Mart.
Langley will serve a 60 day in jail before going on 12 months’ probation.
That came from a suspended 10 month prison sentence.
Another individual, Randi Lukeheart of Saint Joseph, is said to be allegedly involved in the thefts and is currently in Buchanan County Jail on a hold, facing charges there.
A third individual, who’s named hasn’t been released by Atchison Police, is still at-large after escaping on foot that night.
