A 21-year-old Oskaloosa man pleaded guilty Monday in Atchison County District Court to charges in connection with the burglary of an Atchison residence.
Brian Rich pled guilty to two counts of felony theft and one count of interference with a law enforcement officer charge.
In exchange, charges of burglary and criminal damage were dismissed.
He was arrested on May 17th by Atchison Police after a tip alleging a burglary had taken place in the 1400 block of North 15th Street in Atchison.
Officers then located Rich, who had thousands of dollars of electronics taken from two individuals in his possession.
Upon questioning, Rich initially gave fictitious information, hindering the case.
Sentencing is scheduled for July 16th.
He remains in Atchison County Jail.
Another person believed to be involved in the case is 19-year-old Ellen Keo.
She had her case continued Monday to July 9th.
Keo is free on 10 thousand dollars bond.
