Moran says without a budget in place, federal spending will continue to climb, unchecked(Play Audio :36 seconds)
Moran says, in working towards the budget, all entitlement programs must be assessed in order to make certain that federal funds are not wasted(Play Audio :26 seconds)
Moran's comments on the Senate floor followed Congressional consideration earlier in the day of five separate budgets. He says four, while not perfect, did take into account entitlement spending. The only one that didn't, according to the Senator from Kansas, was the one pushed by the Obama administration.
He says political bickering must be put aside in order to come to terms on a common sense budget for protection of future generations.
