Atchison Man Gets Probation for Burglary and Thefts

 A 20 year old Atchison man gets two years probation on felony burglary and two theft charges.

 Daniel McCullough had a combined 25 month prison sentence suspended Monday in Atchison County Court.

 He was arrested on January 4th for breaking into the Atchison Subway last fall and taking money from their safe.

 He also was given a one year suspended sentence for interference with a law enforcement officer concurrent to the 25 month suspended sentence for leading Atchison police officers on a foot chase prior to his arrest.

 He also got a six month prison sentence suspended to run concurrent to the 25 months for the Subway money theft.

 McCullough was also ordered to pay 17 hundred 54 dollars in restitution to Subway.

 Part of the 25 month combined suspension was a 12 month sentence for taking 26 thousand dollars worth of items from his parents in mid-December.
